Attention all K4ORE 146.925 repeater users-
The K4ORE Repeater is currently down due to power issues at the site. Recent weather events have resulted in unstable power at the site. There is no reason to suspect any equipment damage at this time. Work is in progress to bring the repeater back on-line at the earliest opportunity.
The outage also affects the co-located AA4TA 442.625 MTEARS machine.
We are actively engaged in resolving this issue at the earliest opportunity. We understand the hole in 2 meter coverage and MTEARS coverage this outage leaves.
In the meantime, there are the following 2 meter repeaters in the area: 147.390+ KF4L (T 123.0) Clarksville, 147.030 (T 123.0) Hopkinsville, and of course the wide coverage AF4TZ 146.670 (T 123.0) in Nashville.
Remember the standard repeater outage protocol: if you can’t bring the repeater up from a normally solid location, check your settings. If that fails, go to the repeater output on simplex and transmit. This will stand the best chance of contacting users who may not be aware of the status of the machine.
Updates to this status will be posted here as available.
