The C.O.RE. Group mounted it's second Field Day effort running 5F from the Red Cross Chapter house in Clarksville, stringing antennae from the trees and push up poles, operating all stations off generator power, operating mostly for the fun of it, showing once again that with some prior planning and a modest effort, one can operate a 5F Field Day station with good results. The event offers us a unique opportunity to operate HF out of our served agency, allowing us to experience the challenges that it offers and adapt our approach to overcome them.
We look forward to improving on our score and skills on the last weekend of June 2007. We'll look for you on the air!!
